This is TheSchoolZone.ca's (“TSZ”) privacy policy. This document explains TSZ's policies for the collection, use and
disclosure of personal information. TSZ abides by applicable privacy legislation.
TSZ provides a service that allows for cashless payments by students to a School or Home & School Association.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
TSZ collects information by various methods, primarily being information actively provided by its customers, and
information arising from the provision of services between parents, students schools and Home & School organizations
using the Service. We may use cookies to facilitate the use of the Service, but we do not use cookies to provide us
with personal information.
The types of personal information we collect include name, contact information, and details about the requested
and provided services. Credit card information is used by a third party payment facilitator. TSZ does not retain
credit card information.
HOW WE USE THIS INFORMATION
This information is used to provide our Services as described in the Terms of Use.
TSZ may use aggregate or anonymous information which will not be linked to identified individuals for various other
uses for itself and third parties.
WHO WE SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH
TSZ does not share personal information with any third parties except as disclosed in this policy. TSZ may provide
personal information to its consultants, subcontractors and professional advisers (which shall be bound by
privacy obligations) to assist TSZ’s uses disclosed herein. TSZ shares information with schools and Home & School
Associations as reasonably required to provide the services. TSZ shares
personal information of a customer with the School / Home & School Association that the customer associates their
child's account with to the extent reasonably
required to facilitate the provision of those services (such as name and contact information.)
SECURITY
Personal information is protected by security measures appropriate to the nature of the information.
ACCESSING INFORMATION
Individuals may review their personal information contained in TSZ files by contacting the TSZ privacy officer.
If an individual believes that any of their personal information is inaccurate, we will make appropriate corrections.
GENERAL
TSZ may amend this policy from time to time by posting an updated version on the Service. If such amendments affect
how TSZ uses or discloses personal information already held by TSZ in a material way, TSZ will obtain consent.

Notwithstanding the general terms of this policy, the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information may
be made outside of the terms herein to the extent provided for in any applicable privacy or other legislation in
effect from time to time, or pursuant to court orders.
